An intensive week of Job Shadowing dedicated to sharing good practices among education and training professionals took place at Paidea’s headquarters, located within the innovative Città della Scienza hub in Naples.
The initiative, part of activities connected with Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan and Erasmus+, welcomed two representatives from the Romanian association STEM4RO, Claudia Luță and Amalia Nica. The Paidea team hosted them for a learning and observation programme focusing on educational innovation, European project design and STEM technologies.
Paidea Job Shadowing: Building Bridges Between Experiences and Cultures
Job Shadowing is a training methodology based on the direct observation of experienced professionals in their working environment.
Through this approach, teachers and education professionals can acquire new skills, explore innovative teaching practices and broaden their professional perspectives.
At Paidea, the programme was developed in an atmosphere of collaboration and intercultural exchange through:
- workshops dedicated to PNRR and Erasmus+ project design;
- observation sessions at partner schools;
- practical activities focusing on STEM and design thinking.
The experience encouraged not only the exchange of knowledge, but also the development of new connections between Italy and Romania, confirming Paidea’s central role in the European professional development of teachers.
